Artist Statement
Painting has always been my outlet, through moments that are difficult or easy, ugly or beautiful. It anchors me, offering calm, clarity, and confidence when everything else feels uncertain.
My paintings serve as a portal into my inner world-from landscapes to clouds to water, each element becomes a way for me to explore and express emotion. My process is intuitive yet intentional: I begin with a feeling and allow that to guide me. Oil paint, with its wonderful capacity for depth and luminosity, becomes a tool for building immersive, contemplative spaces.
My signature style blends atmospheric realism with emotional symbolism, rooted in the natural world but always deeply introspective. My brushwork is deliberate yet fluid, balancing control with spontaneity. I often use layered, soft strokes that blend seamlessly to create atmospheric effects that mimic the natural gradations found in clouds and water.
I invite the viewer to immerse themselves in the emotional and atmospheric qualities of nature, encouraging a deep sense of connection and introspection.
