I Am The Sky cloudscapes
This series began in a moment of profound loss, as rain fell outside the hospital window when I learned my father had only hours to live-it felt as if they sky was mirroring my grief.
It has since evolved into symbolic paintings that capture significant moments in my life through emotion and atmosphere.
Each piece invites viewers to connect with these feelings and find their own meaning within the work.
Into The Mystic seascapes
“As wave is driven by wave
And each, pursued, pursues the wave ahead,
So time flies on and follows, flies, and follows,
Always, for ever and new. What was before
Is left behind; what never was is now;
And every passing moment is renewed.”
- Ovid, Metamorphoses
Inspired during a spine injury, Into the Mystic uses water as a symbol of renewal and grounding, echoing the rhythm of waves.
It reflects how stress and unreleased emotions can manifest physically, with water representing release, resilience, and restoration.
Firenze si risveglia (Florence Awakens)
Living in Florence Italy over one summer had a profound effect on me. My being felt awakened by the beauty and soul of this country. I was inspired to paint the reflections of the Florentine buildings on the Arno river, as a way to symbolize my deep connection to this beautiful city and country.
Landscapes
Places both near and far that have inspired me, reflecting the moments, memories, and emotional connection I feel within each landscape.
Fade Away endangered species
