I was born in Vancouver, BC and as a child spent most of my time drawing and and spending time outdoors. After receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Calgary, I returned to British Columbia and continued my education, receiving a Diploma in Graphic Design and Illustration from Capilano University.
Inspired by the beauty of nature and the landscape of the Pacific Northwest along with using my sensibilities of graphic design, my creative soul is expressed through my paintings.

“The richness I achieve comes from Nature, the source of my inspiration.” - Claude Monet
Painting has always been my anchor, my lifeline, lifting me out of darkness and giving me a way to celebrate the good times. I've been creating art for as long as I can remember and I couldn’t imagine a life without art. A painting instructor of mine once said, “The best thing about being an artist is that you never have to retire.”
Nature is a constant source of my inspiration and painting has always been a way for me to express my passion for the natural world. Living in the Pacific Northwest, I love the ever-changing nature of the water and the sky—it’s always fluctuating and flowing, and will never appear exactly the same way again. It’s another reminder to pause and appreciate the present moment while it’s here.
